This year music mogul and Atlanta native Jermaine Dupri was inducted into the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, making him the second hip-hop act ever to be inducted behind Jay-Z.
Due this Summer via Sony/Legacy/Certified Classics, he will be celebrating 25 years of his renowned label that was a major fixture to Hip Hop and R&B artists including Xscape, Da Brat, Jagged Edge & Bow Wow.
On the compilation, Dupri says, “I been dreaming of getting to this point since my very first release.”
The set is to feature hits, remixes and album cuts spanning more than two decades.
