Grammy Award-winning Superstar Mariah Carey has released her double disc compilation album The Rarities via Sony Music.
The Rarities is a collection of unreleased songs and gems over the span of her 30 year illustrious musical career as well as live performances from Tokyo Dome, Japan 1996.
The project is led by the singles "Save the Day" which features the iconic Ms. Lauryn Hill and produced by Jermaine Dupri and a cover of Irene Cara's 1980's Fame song "Out Here On My Own".

About the project, Carey adds:

Carey recently released her first memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey.
I’m enjoying it. I can understand why many did not make the albums. Very could’ve been added as bonus tracks. I still feel like she has more in the vault.
