Written by Ella Mai & Varren Wade and Produced by Boi-1da, Jahaan Sweet & The Rascals, this seductive song serves as the lead single from Ella Mai's yet-titled sophomore album, which follows after her 2018 acclaimed self-titled debut LP.
About the song, Ella Mai adds: "'Not Another Love Song' is about falling in love but not wanting to admit it, so it's quite vulnerable but still has an edge to it".
