Bobby Brown to Release "Don't Be Cruel" 35th Anniversary Deluxe Edition

Grammy Award-winning R&B legend Bobby Brown is set to release the 35th anniversary deluxe edition to his multi-platinum breakthrough sophomore album Don't Be Cruel on July 16th.

Originally released on June 20, 1988 via MCA Records, Don't Be Cruel peaked at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 200's and R&B Albums charts and spawned five top 10 Billboard Hits: "Don't Be Cruel" (R&B #1, Pop #8), "My Prerogative" (R&B #1, Pop #1), "Roni" (R&B #2, Pop #3), "Every Little Step" (R&B #1, Pop #3), "Rock Wit’cha" (R&B #3, Pop #7).

Don't Be Cruel would go on to be the best-selling album of 1989, spending 6 non-consecutive weeks at number one.
