On Friday, September 29th Powerhouse vocalists Shanice and Tracie Spencer will appear on The Sherri Show for an exclusive interview to chat about their viral moment that became one of Sherri's favorites of the summer as seen in the video below when the two childhood friends ran into each other at the mall after losing touch with each other.
At the age of 14, Shanice released her debut album Discovery in 1987 via A&M Records. Her follow-up 1991 album Inner Child produced her breakout Billboard No. 1 hit "I Love Your Smile".
Shanice then went on to release three additional albums 21... Ways to Grow (1994), Shanice (1999) and Every Woman Dreams (2006). Also appeared in the reality series Flex & Shanice with her husband/actor Flex Alexander Knox.
The couple share two children, daughter Imani Shekinah Knox and son Elijah Alexander Knox.
At the tender age of 11, singer, model and actress Tracie Spencer got her first taste of stardom when she won the junior vocalist competition on the television show Star Search and became the youngest artist to sign a contract with Capitol Records. Soon after, she released her self-titled 1988 debut album which includes the hit single "Symptoms of True Love".
In 1990, Spencer released her follow-up album Make the Difference featuring her top 5 Billboard hits "This House" and "Tender Kisses".
Since then, Tracie appeared on the hit ABC sitcom Family Matters as well as commercials, modeling and released her third album Tracie in 1999.
On October 7th, Shanice & Tracie Spencer will be performing at the Kennedy Center with World-renowned DJ D-Nice and many other favorites.
