Fifteen-time Grammy Award-winning superstar Alicia Keys has unveiled the official music video for her new single “Lifeline”.
“Lifeline” serves as the lead single from The Color Purple soundtrack for the new film adaptation of Alice Walker’s novel and film.
The Color Purple original motion picture soundtrack is out now on all streaming and digital music platforms and features songs from the movie performed by cast members Fantasia, Taraji P. Henson, Colman Domingo, Danielle Brooks, H.E.R. & Halle Bailey, as well as original material inspired by the film by Mary J. Blige, Megan Thee Stallion, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Jorja Smith, Keyshia Cole, Coco Jones, Ciara, Mary Mary & Missy Elliott.
Serving as the film's executive music producers are Nick Baxter, Stephen Bray, Quincy Jones, Scott Sanders and Blitz Bazawule.
Directed by Bazawule, The Color Purple film also stars Corey Hawkins, Aunjanue Ellis, Jon Batiste, Elizabeth Marvel and Louis Gossett Jr. and will be released in theaters nationwide on December 25th by Warner Bros. Pictures.
