The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recently updated their certifications data for artists who have earned Gold, Platinum, Multi-Platinum and Diamond sales in the United States.
Among the artists are Grammy Award-winning duo Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak) for sales of 1 million (Platinum) units sold for their debut album An Evening with Silk Sonic.
The album debuted at No. 2 and No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 200 and R&B Albums charts respectively and includes the multi-Grammy Award-winning No. 1 hit "Leave the Door Open" as well as follow-up singles "Skate", "Smokin Out the Window", "Love's Train" and "After Last Night" featuring Thundercat & Bootsy Collins.
