British R&B singer-songwriter Mark Morrison’s “Return of the Mack” single has been certified 5x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for sales of five million units sold in the US.
Released in the United States in 1997 from Morrison’s debut album of the same-name, the song peaked at No. 2 and No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and Hot R&B Singles charts respectively.
